At Automechanika in Frankfurt am Main (Sept. 13 - Sept. 17), BORG Automotive, the leading independent remanufacturer of automotive spare parts in Europe, will showcase its complete product portfolio. For the first time, this will include the turbochargers, which the company added to its range in 2020. In addition, BORG Automotive will also present its new customer portal, which provides customers with 24/7 access to order data as well as numerous self-service functions.
At its booth, BORG Automotive will showcase its remanufactured alternators, starters, turbos, A/C compressors, EGR valves, steering racks, steering pumps, and brake calipers. For the first time, the Danish company, which distributes its line-up under the brands Elstock, DRI, Lucas, and TMI, will also be exhibiting its range of turbochargers which were launched in 2020.
Aftermarket distributors and workshop owners will be able to experience the quality of these products first-hand. The parts that BORG Automotive remanufactures are virtually indistinguishable from new parts in visual terms and are on par with them in terms of quality and performance. The reason? The remanufacturer looks back at over 45 years in the industry and exclusively remanufactures original cores in its European production facilities, ensuring they meet the strictest quality standards possible.
Another highlight of the fair will be BORG Automotive presenting its new customer portal to the public for the first time. This unique addition will offer registered customers a wide range of options around the clock. For example, users can view their orders and order status, check invoices and invoice status, and manage returns or warranties with just a few clicks. They can also find the contact details of their personal account manager and access their customer data.
Ivan Mikkelsen, Commercial Director at BORG Automotive, added, “For the second time, Automechanika puts a special focus on ‘Sustainable Solutions’. We are pleased that the circular economy, to which we have been contributing for decades, is becoming an increasingly important topic in the aftermarket.
At the same time, it has been a key focus for us to deliver an excellent and customized customer experience since the foundation of BORG Automotive. Our new slogan ‘The most important part is you’ reflects that focus, just like our new customer portal initiative.
Furthermore, the portal goes hand in hand with the ‘Sustainable Solutions’ focus as it minimizes paperwork and contributes to reduced resource consumption. Once again, we are looking forward to an exciting Automechanika with an important focus and fruitful dialogues.”
